That would make them distinctive from the previous models, and I imagine it wouldn't be that hard to render an existing model without the roof. The amount of clutter on screen is annoying and ridiculous when this happens. i prefer big mounts like the dessler and koreallis (i think i butchered that name) and clutter always happens, with big or small mounts and even with characters alone at GTN kiosks. your right about it being annoying but that's only in highly populated areas. even so there are quite a bit of unoccupied space even at the fleet areas.
