Xxpostaldude
Hey I'm running eyefinity 5760X1920, love it, however, on my left and right screens there's a fishlens effect which makes things look a ton closer than they actually are. which is kinda annoying. Is there a way to make it so that all 3 moniters display the same exact distance and get rid of the fishlens effect??? any info would be very much appreciated
Lundli
The only MMO I know of that handles this well is Eve, the reason you experience a fishlens effect is because even if you can choose 5760x1080 in settings the actual FoV is much less and the image is gradually stretched from the midde towards the edges. I have no idea if it's even possible to do something about it in this game..
Xxpostaldude
hmm true, it doesn't look bad and is still immersive. Just wondering if there were any programs that deal with resolution that would help
Lundli
None that I'm aware of, in some games you can adjust the Field of View to make it wider so you get less stretching (or none at all) I suspect that isn't possible in TOR as most likely it's hard coded to some value.
