DARK_MARKES Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 First of all, i'm not here to talk **** about gunship, if they're OP, if they're ruining GSF, etc... I'm one of those players who thinks that 11-12 kills in a wz it's brutal and then, took a look at the forums and see players with 30-40 kills and goes to a corner to cry This makes me think if i'm doing something wrong with my gunship (beside i'm just a normal player, not a pro or anything). So I come here to ask for help or, at least, some tips. I play with this components: Light laser cannons (left upgrade in 4th & 5th line) Ion Railgun (right upgrade in 4th & 5th) Slug Railgun (left upgrade in 4th & 5th) Feedback shield (right upgrade in 3th line) Rotational trusters (left upgrade in 3th line) Reinforced armor Regeneration extender Regeneration reactor Dampening sensors Thanks a lot for your help/tips! Helig Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Distortion (duration upgrade)+Lightweight armour+Response Turning (crew). Aim for the small inner circle, and not the big outer one. Switch Slug and Ion, make full use of Ion's AoE slow, use Slug as your finisher. Hit turrets (if any) with Ion to damage sat-humpers and slow them. Barrel roll compensates for gunship's lack of mobility and allows you to perform the ultimate "b*tch move" - roll back to capital ship turret defenses. Burst-fire>light lasers for Gunship self-defense. Don't require tracking, very accurate at close range. As for rector, I like either Turbo or Large.
