OfaraAerno Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 So out of all my time playing, I couldn't help but notice to see the blooming issues for lightsabers. Whenever bloom is off, it looks way better imo. When you have bloom on, it looks great, BUT it have two colors to it. For example, when you use a standard green crystal it omits 2 colors, yellow in the inside and a green on the outside. For the purple crystal, it omits a purple on the outside and pink in the middle. Bstr Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) This is by design. The lightsabers with bloom on is how they are advertised in the video and artwork and other advertisements. Bloom is just turned off for those computers that cannot handle it, like my old laptop. Merwanor Posted January 17, 2014 Share Posted January 17, 2014 It is true that some lightsabers look better without the bloom, I think the way they use bloom in the game ruins lighter colored crystals. For instance, the blue lightsaber crystal looks fine, but the cyan crystal looks much fatter and the green lightsaber crystal looks like it is yellow/green. Those are nowhere close to being regular green. I want regular, like yoda/qui-Gon green. Green has always been my favorite, its pretty disappointing. I do use mint green though, its different.
