The key to doing good damage is to save enough focus to be able to use your high priority moves as soon as they're available, but not to get capped on focus (because then you're wasting it). Watchman priorities (at 30): Overload saber on cooldown, Cauterize on cooldown, Master strike on cooldown Use Slash to dump focus, but make sure to save enough focus for overload saber and cauterize if they're coming up Use Zealous Strike, Force leap, and Strike to build focus (with that priority) Use Force Sweep if there's aoe, and blade storm if 4-10 meters away (so you can't use your closer abilities) Opener: Force leap + Overload saber in the air >> Zealous Strike >> Cauterize >> Master Strike >> ... Use Zen when you have 2 stacks of overload saber on the enemy (ie about to apply 3rd) Combat priorities (at 30): Use precision slash on cooldown. For the next 4.5 seconds after it (ie 3 gcds) try to fit in as many big hitters as possible. Big hitters: Blade storm (with opportune attack proc only), Master strike, and fill with Slash Priority inside precision slash: Blade storm with opportune attack proc, then Master strike, then Slash Priority outside precision slash: Same, but with Cauterize ahead of Slash Use Zealous Strike and strike to build focus Save some focus if your precision slash is coming up soon if you'll be using slash during it If precision slash is going to come up soon, save heavy hitters for it (other than burning excess focus with slash) Opener: Force leap >> Zealous Strike >> Precision slash + Master strike >> (then blade storm if opportune attack has shown up, or slash otherwise) >> ... Use Zen right before precision slash to fit an extra ability in. Focus priorities (at 30): Use master strike on cooldown. Zealous Leap on cooldown (or replace it with force leap if you're 10+ meters away), and use force sweep and (free) blade storm after it. Next priority is slash (if leap+sweep more than 1 gcd away) or cauterize (if you can do leap/sweep in the next gcds, so you don't care about reducing the cooldown) Build focus with Zealous strike and strike. Opener: Force leap >> Force sweep >> Blade storm >> Master strike >> Zealous strike >> ...
