Sharee Posted December 25, 2013 Share Posted December 25, 2013 (edited) You have to click on the grayed-out ability. A popup window appears informing you on how much that upgrade would cost, then you click OK. You need to unlock from top to bottom of the tree(the cheapest upgrades are at the top, the most expensive ones at the bottom). Also, to unlock an upgrade in a tree, you have to own the base item first (to upgrade burst laser on a scout, you first need to buy the burst laser itself on the left side menu) Also, it is not possible to buy upgrades while you are queued for a match, so make sure you aren't. TrooperRCH Posted December 25, 2013 Author Share Posted December 25, 2013 Ah, it goes top to bottom. Didn't know that. Thought it was like the regular talent tree and went bottom to top. I would click on the bottom ones and it would keep popping up saying I need to unlock the previous tier first, and I kept scratching my head. I'll give it a try when I get home. Thanks.
