Well Its not really a Bug, But its something that should be removed from this encounter.

During the Fight with Calp He will Knock back one of the tanks ( at this point there must be a tank swap )

But during our last run the offtank had the red circle under his feet Just before he has to do a tank swap. This inevitably means that the off tank has to be one shot. and will most likely wipe your raid. Not really something major i know and its really just bad luck, but this is silly, Is this behaviour intendid for the offtank to spawn a circle under him whilst waiting to do a swap ?

Yes, this can happen sometimes, but it is not a bug at all and should not cause a wipe. The main tank who has the highest threat from the boss will never receive the red circle, but the offtank can very well get it.

I think you do not understand the red circle correctly. The red circle does not one-shot the tank. It just does some slow ticking damage, so if a tank gets the red circle, he will receive damage from both the boss and the circle, but it is still healable.

The one-shot you are referring to is happening only when the tank (who previously had the aggro) takes damage while still under the influence from the Inevitability debuff. This can happen either by still having the aggro from the boss, or by standing in the red circle. Make sure that your tanks are standing far away from each other, and that they are not standing in front of a wall - that way, before they receive the debuff, they will be knocked back far away from the group and any red circles.

Melee players can't get the circle unless they are hovering around outside of melee range (>4-5 m from boss). Just keep near him as much as possible or you risk one shotting the new off tank.

Likewise the ranged group should stay well and truly ranged, this is what the mechanic was designed to do alongside the knockback with 1-shot debuff, take an open space and force you to consider positioning.
