lizziandme
Just a quick post to let everyone know about this exhibit at the San Jose Tech Museum (Northern California). The exhibit even includes a ride in the Millenium Falcon (a reproduction of the cockpit). It's there now through February 24, 2014. There is also a lecture series with people from ILM who worked on the films. Many actual props and costumes from the films on loan from George Lucas' museum. From the site: Relive the magic of all 6 films including authentic costumes and props of Darth Vader, Yoda, R2-D2, and many of your favorites. Engage in hands-on design labs where you defy gravity, engineer Droids™, and manipulate robots. Explore space travel, robotics, and magnetic levitation. Here is a link to the SJT webiste: http://www.thetech.org/plan-your-visit/special-exhibitions/STAR-WARS#Overview Apparently there was a Star Wars Day in May that I didn't know about, but at least we know about this exhibit before it closes. This is the last stop of the exhibit, don't know where it's been though. See you all there Oh, hey Devs you can check the exhibit out while you are in this area for the Cantina stop next month. We are planning on going there in the afternoon before the EA meet and greet Whooo! A complete Star Wars Day! lol
