Not surprisingly, I have both the Cathar Honor Sword and the Cathar Warstaff unlocked account-wide. My Sith and Jedi characters all use their lightsabers, they're traditionalists. I use the Cathar weapons on all the companions that I can. But too many companions can only use Techblade or Techstaff weapons so they're melee but they're out of luck. I would like to see one of two things. I would love to see the requirements changed to "Vibrosword or Techblade" and "Electrostaff or Techstaff" just like some armors will have requirements like "Bounty Hunter or Sith Warrior." But if that is not feasible, I would like to see techblade and techstaff versions released. I have been having this thought semi-regularly ever since the weapons launched but was reminded of it again today when Torian Cadera joined my Cathar Merc's crew and I could tweak every last bit of his look except for giving him the Techstaff I wanted.
