The point is, the patch that forced everyone to reparse happened less than a week ago. Double-Serendipitous relic usage was what pretty much everyone used. It's also the only reason Annihilation was able to get good numbers. A temporary solution to actually fixing the spec, but one that's outlived itself, it appears. Back to being underpowered. This is my first time using adrenals in it, not too much of a difference from not having them. My gear is mostly 72 with a couple of 69 armors and 78 enhancements. In this parse I decided to try the 2/22/22 build with the exact same gear and general rotation. It actually pulled more dps on a consistent basis over a few fights. Not really... As I recall it, the only change that matters for parsing is allowing fury to stack during bloodthirst. Annihilation gets time increases on it's stacks... I mean... woohoo... but it really doesn't matter much for parsing. When it comes to ops, Carnage still has better damage now. So in essence, 2.5 just makes Annihilation deal consistently mediocre damage, as opposed to the same that Carnage does. But as it stands, I simply can't play Annihilation or Hybrid in good conscience. PS: Of course, there's always that possibility that they do change Annihilation in more ways that I'm aware of. Bioware changed the relics in 2.4.3, already has them changed for 2.5, and is probably planning on changing them the patch after that. You might not think it matters, but somehow I think a 490 power 25% of the time is slightly less effective than 740 mainstat 30% of the time. Isn't it wonderful the extent Bioware will go to mess with things they shouldn't? If you've got an Obroan SA, you're in the exact same boat as me. Bought the DF BA because DF SA doesn't stack with Obroan SA. Most logical choice. Forgive us if we all collectively NOT hold our breath. In almost 8 weeks you've updated this thread a total of 3 times....2 of which were in the first 2 weeks of 2.4 dropping. Of course, IRL > game thread, but if you're going to author it, there is kind of a responsibility that goes along with it. Especially when there have been a few posts saying 'i'll be updating this tomorrow night'. Then no word nor update for 2+ weeks. If you want people to continue to participate there needs to be updating. Once every 2 weeks is reasonable I'd think. Otherwise there is a loss of interest.
