SWTOR has awesome and fun PvP and while PvP player base has been dwindling there are a few solutions especially considering there seems to be some life in the development team towards PvP a la the new 4v4 Arenas

- A major Issue with PvP has really been the lack of New Maps in structured PvP (totally discounting world PvP I will drop a thread on my ideas for that soon)

- A major solution that coincides with the new 4v4 Arena's release would be *The Release of a Map Making tool or some such method for a contest to be held every 3 months for a new arena map from the community, that way the PvP players get a new map and the Dev team doesn't have to allocate resources.

- As Far as 8v8 is concerned, a new Huttball map would be amazing, there are so man PvP players out there that would love to have a new Huttball map to play on this would go leaps and bounds as to getting old PvP players back and new SWTOR players paying for unlimited warzones

- An Idea to Link PvP and PvE content and promote SWTOR as the AAA MMO it should be *Implement a way for players in game to Bet Credits on which 4v4 team would win a said match in a tournament and then you actually see those teams in said tournaments on Twitch.tv (not in-game obviously) and it reports the winner and loser in the actual game and the players get or lose their credits.... thereby promoting competitive gameplay while having a meta-game and its simple because its just yes they won or no they didn't ...and this Tournament could be held with rank'd 4v4 teams every 3 months or at the end of PvP season creating notoriety for the players and SWTOR the game

- how this translates to more Subs *with more players wanting to play these new 4v4's and the limit on free to play warzones, there will be an influx of subscriptions so as to allow unlimited warzones especially if there is a ranked structure that compliments a reward like a Tournament for the highest ranked teams that PvE' or PvP players can bet on (not the players in the matches obviously)

I myself would spend the time to get another Huttball match made just need the tools and the Go-Ahead

Lastly I want to Express my Gratitude for the Development Team getting new PvP continent on the PTS the 4v4 arena's are awesome and I truly believe bringing new PvP in conjunction with PvE content and new cosmetics for armor and Mounts is the way to to keep SWTOR alive and Vibrant and PROFITABLE for Bioware,EA,

Create 6 different Huttball maps and allow people to que ONLY for the huttbal maps.

Create a series of premade team names, allow people to flag themselves as available for a small number of the teams, thus giving a semblence of team pride. For example, say there are 10 teams (such as the rotworms and frogdogs that are already teams) and a player can flag as being active for any 3. Creat sets of armor that are adaptable yet look like heavy, medium, and light (we already have a full heavy set and light practice jerseys for example) for each team. Each team has reputation you earn vie winning matches while representing that team for the armor sets and weapons that fit the theme of the team (colors and even design choices, lets have the teams actually not look the same eh?).

The purpose for choosing premade teams to rep is so you don't run into the problem of forming a player made team and not being able to play because everyone is not on. This also allows the team names to be said by the announcers and for special armor to be created for the logo's and such.

For every PvPer I hear that hates huttball, I hear 3 say they love it.
