Darth_Wicked Posted July 30, 2013 Share Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) I always assumed that Revan, having his hands full with the war against the Republic and still not possessing all the facts concerning Rakatan technology, wanted to see to what extent said technology could replicate itself. AlexDougherty Posted July 31, 2013 Share Posted July 31, 2013 (edited) He was probably hoping it might become a weapon against the Sith (in case he failed [Plan B]), given the fact his instructions basically feed it positive emotions (love, reverence, honour, etc). Thus when it awoke it would have seen the negative emotions of the Sith Empire (Hate, anger, fear, loathing, etc), and allied itself with who ever was fighting the Sith, preferably the Republic.
