I understand there was an unexpected side effect (I looked at the latest known issues post), but that is not what I am posting about. If you take a taxi or an elevator while grouped, companions are dismissed. While taxi rides are usually between missions, an example of an elevator dismissal within a single group mission would be [Heroic 4] Red Handed (Alderaan, Republic Side at Panteer Refuge). You descend one elevator for the first part, then go back up it and down another for the second part. My companion was the 4th member of the group and I had to summon him after every elevator ride (as well as every time I got off a taxi for another mission).
