BW: So Just got Hypergates SEVEN TIMES IN A ROW!

I think the math is something like this:

You play a WZ and get map #1 (out of 4).

To get the same map again on your next game is 1 in 4. You find this by multiplying the chance of each outcome occurring. Since the first warzone is already determined, the odds are 1/1. To get the same map its 1/4, so it becomes 1/1 * 1/4 and we get 1/4.

To get the same map a third time, you take the previous scenario of 1/4 and multiply it by another 1/4 chance. 1/4 * 1/4 = 1/16. The odds of 3 times in a row are 1/16.

4 times in a row is 1/16 * 1/4 = 1/64

5 times in a row = 1/64 * 1/4 = 1 in 256

6 times in a row = 1 in 1024

7 times in a row = 1 in 4096

8 times in a row = 1 in 16,384
