Buying outright from the collection screen

So we now have a Cathar Warstaff in the cartel store. This is cool, but it also means something important. You can buy gear outright from the Cartel store, if it's available, and there's a set price range for these items 400 for weapons 1400 for full equipment sets. So with these existing I have to ask, why can we not just out right go to our collections screen and purchase weapons we want, gear we want, crystals we want. You've no issue with putting other weapons, and armor, and items in the store itself, so why not let us purchase these other items? If nothing else it could be a bonus for being a subscriber that you don't need to buy packs for the chance of something you want you could just out and out buy it.
