•Seeker Droid: Dig sites are no longer deplete when players find Dreadseed or Star Forager armor pieces.

 

i found a special treasure on dune sea dig site(purple junk) and pop a message saying "your seeker droid no longer detects anything"

So the dig sites still are able to be deplete,

or, the dig site isnt deplete even if OTHER players find something, and you can still searh until YOU find something, and then the site is deplete for you.

Patch notes could be more clear about this

 

Edit: found some Dreadseed gloves and the site got deplete

I think the patch notes are very clear about this. They no longer deplete if the armor is found. You found a purple item, therefore the site depleted.

 

Edit: found some Dreadseed gloves and the site got deplete

If this is the case, then it is not working as intended but your example above worked correctly.
