Slowpokeking
Why didn't the Empire restore it? In the novel Annihilation, it was clearly mentioned that without it, the Empire went blind on the war. Darth Marr would surely like to restore it, if Jadus was still leading it, he would also want it back to enhance his powerbase.
CommanderGalan
Yes. The Empire clearly needed it. And why would you take out one of the most important power bases of the Empire, let alone any faction of that magnitude. The Empire is left vulnerable in more than one way. ~CommanderGalan (Caskus, Imperial Agent)
zzoorrzz
I'm positive they restored it. It's mentioned multiple times near the end of agent story that there will be new "Sith intelligence" and you even have a chance to be part of it under certain circumstances. The problem is we don't have class stories anymore, so they probably won't talk much about it in the story for the whole faction.
nevenavasovic
It's not only the issue that the Imperial Intelligence is gone, it's also the fact that what's created out of it is nothing like it used to be. Sure, there is Sith Intelligence but I can only assume it's used more for spying on other Sith then for war purposes. The problem is that it got too powerful and the Sith didn't like it.
