Allow us to sell excess Cartel gear to regular vendors.

Recommended Posts

It won't happen due to the fact there is no limit how many time you can re-claim the gear once you have added them to your collection.

There was a thread regarding BW ban hammer because some people spawn tons of crystal and sold them to vendor for cash. (Something like that.)

You just have to make the spawn cost higher than what you would get from the vendor.

It costs zero credits to spawn a duplicate item from your collection...and the item will be unsellable to vendors.

Now if you have the original item from a cartel pack that you want to vendor that is different. But how would they figure out what the vendor price can be? I bought a Sniper Besh rifle for 27 credits from the GTN. So what does that mean? the max vendor price will be set at 26 for that item? i dont think so. You are pretty much competing with GTN prices, and prices on there will vary by a lot. What if they decided that the vendor price on a Sniper besh rifle would be 2500 credits. With that price why would anyone even post that sniper rifle on the GTN for less then 2500? they could just go and vendor it themselves and pocket the credits. You can get a full set of orange gear for cheap, but if you put a vendor price on things could that affect GTN prices as well?

Don't know how much of a hassle coding wise it would be, but how about making it so you can only vendor the item when it has the bind timer active?

That way, the collections would not affect the ability to get rid of these things.
