Kaisernick Posted May 17, 2013 Share Posted May 17, 2013 Hay im starting on a Rp server and i want my main to be the head of a small Alderaan house, however im not sure on the official title for the head of a house, i think its duke but there is also baron, anyone know? It's not like all nobles have influence, or money, or even any property at all. Russian Princes and Princesses (descendants of the old Tzar families) were all hereditary nobility with titles that even the ruling Tzar couldn't take away, but it was no guarantee for having anything at all. Nobles from some of the small and now non-existant European nations have even sold their titles to men with money at times. Maybe your character is one of these? A noble with nothing to his name but the clothes he wears and the weapons he carries, or a rich adventurer who just bought into nobility for a fancy title? As it gets bigger, then it would get more titles, and it's head would become Baron, then Earl or Viscount, then eventually either Duke or Count. The rank of Count is equivalent to Duke, as the rank of Earl is equal to Viscount, Marquis is also normally equivalent to Earl/Viscount. I am using Europe as the basis of the rankings, although it has several systems, the ones we generally know are either English, French or German, which are what Alderaan seems to use.
