They own everything you write, but not the ideas or intellectual propperty behind what you wrote. You still own those. There is a difference. Your employer on the other hand... in most cases he owns all your ideas while under his employ unless prohibited by local law.....it's in the employee agreeement you sign. But your employer does not care, unless your idea has commercial value and can make him money in the field he normally markets/sells in... so your MMO ideas are yours unless you work for an MMO company.
