Germanboy Posted April 2, 2013 Share Posted April 2, 2013 Hello Everyone I have had an issue today for about 5 hours dealing with Cartel Coin Purchases through Gamestop and trying to figure out what was wrong with the purchase that I made. Long Story but I went to Gamestop to purchase 100 bucks worth of Cartel Coins and they stated they were avialable for 2400 coins for 19.99 each, so I bought 5 of them so I could make purchases through the cartel market. Gamestop has it where you have to download Gamestop app and then redeem the code through their system and then you have to go to origin.com and enter the final product key on that site. It worked for only one code, the other 4 would not be accepted through Gamestop app nor could they be applied to swtor.com or origin. From what Gamestop and myself figured out is when you get a code from them it is entered as a purchase for a game and will not allow you to enter more than one code for your account!! So if you do plan on buying any cartel coins from Gamestop ensure you only buy one because if you buy more than one they will not be redeemable. Gamestop is just now starting to find out since it just started last Sunday so they dont know anything about it yet but im sure all the Gamestops will after this situation. I was able to get a refund for the other 4 but without someone at local Gamestop getting written up for it. personally I would stick to swtor.com/buy to get your cartel coins until Gamestop fixes their issue with how you buy cartel coins from them until it is all worked out on their systems.
