Please use 2.0 to Complete the Gear Mod System

The Mod system is supposed to be SWTOR's take on gear appearance customization, and while over the past year a great deal of improvements have been made, including the current 2.0 PTR fix of old set bonuses being moved form the shell to the armoring, there are still a lot of places where the system falls short.

Until you get to the highest end gear you cannot extract mods from waist and wrist items. This severely limits the looks you can achieve, and you are forced into wearing certain appearances for the sake of stats. A lot of waist and wrist items that drop from quest that are part of visual sets are blue and unmoddable making it harder to complete these sets.

Companion gear, especially their starter sets, tend to be more unique in appearance, please make all companion flagged gear fully moddable.

Companions are also restricted from wearing Class Restricted gear even if its the correct armor type, please remove this limitation. Its so frustrating to not be able to put the Inquisitor armor on a Companion based off an Inquisitor.

Some of the best looking gear in the game as well as color variants of high level gear are White, Green, Blue , or unmoddable Purple items. Please make all these items moddable. If there is concern about pulling mods out of crafted or dropped items, only allow the original mods to be overwritten.

Mod extraction costs are still rather high, gear should be dropped/purchased in kits that come with the shell and the 2/3 mods separate in the package, that way when we get new gear upgrades we can choose to put the mods in a new or old shell.

I appreciate the devs consideration of theses requests.
