BewareTheDonkey
Possibly, but they are supposed to be sticking to treatment written by George Lucas. Says who? Lucas as a "creative consultant" means nothing more than his name in the credits and a paycheck.
RixoFutu
It's naive to think that Lucas would let anyone to got major influence on what will be with SW next. He is just "consultant", but i think his contract says much more about who got the final word ...

I'd say it's more naive to think that Disney forked over 4 billion dollars just to make films for Lucas. He did the treatments for the movies, and I'm sure he'll have input, but I doubt he has that much direct control.
