I'm running Advanced Prototype and am gearing him for casual pvp, not rated. ( I know I know Pyro is king no need to post and tell me). My question is what mods should i us in my Armor to help the class. Is Aim good or should i go Power or what. If you guys have any thoughts I would love to hear it. Thanks! FeralPug Posted February 5, 2013 Share Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) For pure AP, I'd run Aim augments. You get to take full Steely Resolve, which gives you a 9% bonus to main stat. AP needs a bit of crit built in to shine, so I'd recommend a minimum of 200 crit with the rest power mods and the power/surge enhancements. You want to shoot for a combined mainstat/power number of 3000. This is easy as AP. You will want the Combat Tech set bonus for the longer carbonize and crit increase for rocket punch. Once you're min/maxed, pick up a shield generator so you can flex between ion and HEGC in a WZ. Running hybrid AP is nice for defense on Voidstar.
