Wishiwasanoob Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Been looking at all kinds of guides/videos trying to figure out better PVP tactics and such but (maybe I haven't looked hard enough) I haven't found anyone even mentioning the existence of Sonic Round. Is it not viable/doesn't work in PVP? If so why? To me it seems like it's the same as taunt only AOE instead. My protection stats in WZ's have been all over the place so I haven't been able to tell the difference between when I do/don't use it. MantorokTwelve Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Location and timing are key when you use an AOE taunt in PVP. Any time a bunch of enemies are clustered within 30 meters of you and attacking your teammates is a good time to use it, you can rack defensive medals up pretty quickly if you taunt at an opportune time. Don't forget to guard a healer if you're in tank stance as well, and abuse the hell out of your shorter cooldown single target taunt. Especially if you see DPS attacking squishy targets.
