Until you get a match-making system for regular warzones, quitting will always happen.

  • Matchmaking matches players with a similar range of skills.
  • The people who are bad move to the bottom of the hidden Match Making Ranking (MMR)
  • People with similar skills are in the same range in match making
  • Match-making needs to be done purely on wins/losses

How it will work:

  • A group of 8 will have their MMR's averaged to create a group average
  • If the team that won is favored (has a higher MMR) they gain a miniscule amount MMR proportional to the difference in team MMRs
  • If the team that won has about an equal MMR then they gain more MMR
  • If the team that won is unfavored (has a lower MMR), they gain a large amount of MMR proportional to the difference inbetween the team MMRs
  • When a team wins, the MMR is distributed unevenly amongst the members of the team. The players with higher MMR's on the team are rewarded less than the player with lower MMR's (the idea is if you win you are only as good as your best player).
  • Premade groups have an MMR bonus added to them that accounts for the increased coordination due to voice chat. This MMR bonus pushes these players up more than one or two brackets and must face either superior PUG players or premades on the same skill level.
  • The MMR is a hidden rating that will never be seen. This ensures nobody begins rejecting classes/players because they're afraid to loose some rating.

Once you get this Match Making system going, the number of quitters is reduced to almost zilch. The players who quit because their team-mates are clueless idiots (Assassins who don't guard off-objectives, DPS who doesn't focus, people who let themselves get lept to, people who dont call incoming) wont be matched with clueless idiots. Those idiots will have bad MMRs.

Players who quit because they need wins won't get them any faster because they'll always be matched up against similarly skilled players. They'll have to work for their wins because their MMR contributes 1/8th of the average.

Players who are new will loose alot in the beginning and drop to the bottom of the Match-Making system, where they'll have more enjoyable games facing other recruit players or smashing the clueless idiots.
