Kaane Posted January 7, 2013 Share Posted January 7, 2013 I play a pyro powertech, i am currently working on a tanking set for voidstar defense or occasional hutball respec in pugs. Anyone got any decent builds? I know PT's suck as pvp tanks, but it won't be my primary role. I was looking at a full Shield spec for huttball for Jet Charge, but AP for voidstar looks pretty good with Stabilized Armor. Anyone have any feedback? TheJackalistaken Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 As far as the occasional voidstar defense (where we got a plant, so kills don't matter) I run this. As I find it to be nice balance which gives you a lot of utility in peeling for heals and whatnot and allows you to through up the occasional guard. Nanarchist Posted January 8, 2013 Share Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) AP ion cylinder spec is good on voidstar, but ur not as tanky as a shield tech spec when focused, but stabilized armor make you very tanky vs all those aoe spammers. But it deals tons of aoe damage so it's pretty cool in defense, just went 800k dmg on a full length voidstar And you still have the guard, so if you play with a healer you can be a pain in the a** for the attackers Plus you have the hydraulic overrides that allow you to dodge bumps & roots when you have to speed up in order to interrupt a bomberman (sorry for bad english, not my native language ) Edited January 8, 2013 by Nanarchist Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
