DarthEccen Posted January 7, 2013 Share Posted January 7, 2013 The Altisian Jedi were a splinter faction of the Jedi Order headed by Jedi Master Djinn Altis. They held several precepts frowned upon by the orthodox Jedi Order, including the taking of multiple apprentices by one master and allowing families. Unlike the main Order, the Altisians were not all Force-sensitives; There were many non-Jedi that lived within their community. Leaving the Jedi Temple during the last decades of the Republic, Altis and his followers moved about the galaxy serving as relief workers on underdeveloped worlds and backwaters. The group is first mentioned in the novel Children of the Jedi and makes several appearances in canon prior to that relating to events during and immediately following the Clone Wars. The group seems to receive no further canonical mentions or appearances after Children of the Force, however. I'm wondering: Is there a piece of lore that I am missing?
