SgtKlavier Posted November 28, 2012 Share Posted November 28, 2012 Powertech tank gear is labeled "demolisher," so anything with that in its name is theoretically suited for tanking. If you really want to optimize your character, though, you will have to mod swap far beyond the basic five pieces, which could include buying more black hole pieces, purchasing mods from the GTN, or getting campaign gear. I believe the chest and headpiece offer the best set of mod and enhancement, with one favoring absorb and the other defense, so they are good to fill in your mod/enhancement slots on other pieces. If possible, I would recommend moving all mods to tionese/columi/rakata shells because the four set bonus is a really nice thing for PT tanks. The mod and enhancement give shield and absorb with solid endurance. i dont think avoidance is worth much to the overall tank philosophy of the powertech. effective health to mitigate a lot and have a good health pool will be most valuable.
