happysister Posted November 8, 2012 Share Posted November 8, 2012 i'd say it depends on what class/role you are. if you are a tank, i'd go for the armor rating. if you are DPS, i'd pick up new weapons first, etc. or...you could get whatever it is you think you lack in the most. Infalliable Posted November 8, 2012 Share Posted November 8, 2012 If you solo or are under L30, I would definitely prioritize the hilt/barrel regardless of spec. If you would like to fullfill a tank role above L30, the armorings become important. Below L30 (roughly), there isn't that much differentiation between specs such that the tank needs to be that tanky. JacksonMo Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 While leveling, I tend to lean towards what's the biggest upgrade, regardless of roll. It won't do you alot of good to be in up to date armor, with a weapon 10 levels old. Whenever possible, I upgrade my gear in flashpoints and use planet comms on my companion.
