I understand that my post is in English but my site does get a lot of French visitors. If anybody would care to help translate this, it would be really appreciated. I hope this information helps you all.

Hi and welcome to your new adventure in Star Wars: The Old Republic. In this post I'd like to point out some of the guides I've put together which will help you get through this amazing universe. The first thing you need to do is know your class.

You can find a full class breakdown, which covers the basics and also Advanced Class information, here: http://www.swtorface.com/p/class-info.html

The next thing you need to do is to get to know your Companions. I have put together a complete list of all class Companions, what they do and don't like, and also what gifts they prefer to be given, here: http://www.swtorface.com/p/swtor-companion-list.html

Another topic you might have questions about is crew skills. I've posted a quick guide and video demonstrating how to get the most out of your crew skills, here:

http://www.swtorface.com/2011/12/getting-most-out-of-crafting.html

The video demonstrates sending your Companions out on Missions and explains the difference between the different crew skills.

Getting to know your equipment and the mods system is also important. Getting to find out about these mods and how they work for orange equipment can be found here:

http://www.swtorface.com/2011/12/update-to-upgrading-amor-and-mods-in.html

This is a video demonstrating how to mod your gear.

Next up is space. Space is a big part of leveling and cash income. Although only a mini game, knowing what to do can be quite beneficial. Here's a guide to both basic and advanced space combat:

http://www.swtorface.com/2011/12/swtor-advanced-space-combat-guide-video.html

If Datacron hunting tickles your fancy you might want to check out this complete list of Datacron locations, with bonus hints about where to find them specifically:

http://www.swtorface.com/2011/10/datacrons-locations.html

If exploring is what excites you most and you're curious to know what awaits you on higher level planets, check out the video section where you'll find fly-throughs of several planets. These videos are designed to demonstrate the beauty of the planets without giving away and story spoilers.

As we publish more guides I will update this thread.

These videos are designed to demonstrate the beauty of the planets without giving away and story spoilers.

http://www.swtorface.com/p/video.html

As we publish more guides I will update this thread.

I understand that my post is in English but my site does get a lot of French visitors.
