Pyro DPS

Whats everyone using for Pyro PVE DPS builds now? I cant seem to keep up with the other DPS anymore.

Rot: IM - Rail- RP- FB- Rapid Shots

With Rail Shot on every proc and Explosive fuel whenever it is up.

Vent heat when needed and Thermal Sensor Override + Flame Thrower when heat is high and vent is on CD.

IM - RS - RP - FB (if RS didnt proc) - RS ( when procced) - Flamethrower - RP etc

 

only use override for IM, I have flamethrower in my rotation for more dps (same with DFA), and it's possible without using vent heat or override, just have to prepare for it.

 

Override - IM - Explosive fuel + Adrenal - RS - RP - RS - Flame thrower = lol and look how u can do 3k dps in 15 seconds

I tried several TD builds last night and had a big DPS drop so I respeced w/o TD and had a small gain.

 

But unless SWMoniTOR doesn't keep track right I'm sitting around 1400-1500 DPS while I'm being told other people are around 1700+

I personally use a rotation of: IM > Rail shot > rocket punch > Rail shot > Flame burst etc. Keep IM up on the boss at all times, and always keep in the positive heat regen. I try to only use rocket punch when I know that rail shot is off of the Internal cooldown so that I have a higher chance at a reset.

 

Doing this I'm sitting at 1950+ dps on the dummy.

I did the above spec exsept I took the three points from bernout and put them in prototyp cilinders and rebraced armor and I took the points from sweltering heat and put them into degauss giving me this build 10/6/25.

 

Sweltering heat to degauss shouldn't have much of an impact, but why would you give up the perks of burnout for 16% armor rating? If you're dpsing you're not going to be taking many hits so armor shouldn't matter, while burnout is incredibly useful for boss fights and burnout phases. I am curious, though, about the possibility of taking one point from burnout and putting it into prototype cynlinders as you did. For some reason, a 3% higher crit chance overall (tech) seems more powerful than 1% increased crit and 10% bonus periodic damage when targets are below 30%.
