ellrochell Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 So after trying both specs out regardless of AP buff Pyro still seems to be a solid 50-100 dps ahead. Anyone else had a similar result. I parsered for 5 minutes a few times in both specs. I hadn't played AP before but i think i got used to it by trying out for about half an hour before i tested both against each other. Found that AP is less heat friendly IMO., and was using rapid shots a lot more than in pyro. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Canga Posted September 27, 2012 Share Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) I did a lot of parsing in pre 1.4 BIS gear and found Pyro come out on top for every try, Pyro gave me about 18k dps, AP about 16-17k dps. The AP rotation is also much more complex to keep optimal, while the Pyro rotation you can just jump into it straight away, it's also less dependent on position (no PFT channeling).
