Kniphis Posted August 16, 2012 Share Posted August 16, 2012 I personally run 35% and I am annihilation spec, gives about 38% force crit with talents and a couple Int datacrons which makes for a nice crit rate and thus heals from dots. Although I'm not convinced either.....I make 5% crit chance about 140 crit rate in stats. Convert that directly to power...140 power is about 32 Dmg which equates to around 3% additional dmg on my max Pri. Is 5% crit chance worth 3% dmg hmmm I don't know, what I do know is that bursting (i.e. killing those pesky healers) requires crits whether it be on the end of ravage or with annihilate. I am completely done with WH gear now....switched out all mods and enchantments to optimise and am in the process of building a low crit higher power surge set (mainly to go rage for fun).
