Anything that: Has a radius, OR a maximum target thingy, or a cone, or an AoE placement thingy is considered an Aoe. It doesn't affect corrosive grenade except maybe that initial damage. It definitely doesn't affect how much the dot ticks for. However, this skill is necessary for a lethality build anyway, because of the extra damage to orbital strike and explosive probe. alazar Posted August 14, 2012 Share Posted August 14, 2012 It pretty easy to see that this definitely effects corrosive grenade. Respec and check your corrosive grenade damage in the tooltip. Then throw CG on a target note damage. Then buy Explosive Engineering and look at the tooltip.....holy crap the dmg says it went up. Throw CG on dummy holy crap the dmg even on ticks is higher.
