Spacegoatz Posted August 2, 2012 Share Posted August 2, 2012 to anyone that has leveled both sides..i have only done empire..and up to lvl 20 on reb are the story arcs the same expect on the reb only planets? like voss/tatt will be the same and just opposite from the empire storys on those planets where you have to stop the rebs, yadda yadda. wanna know if there just worth skipping and doin your personal story/pvp/instance grinding to lvl.. As in, the NPCs, the missions, the enemies (most of the time) Sometimes they can be very similar, and even have you fighting the same enemies. But sometimes it is very much different. The stories are fairly different IMO. Every once and a while there is a mission chain that is similar / related (Tatooine comes to mind) but generally this is not the case. On some planets (e.g. Nar Shadaa) the Republic and Empire players are both there at the same time in different areas (with some areas of overlap), in others (Taris, Balmorra) it takes place at entirely different times. Raltar Posted August 2, 2012 Share Posted August 2, 2012 There are some world arcs that are very similar, taking you to the exact same places at times(Tatooine comes to mind immediately with the Thing Czerka Found quest line), but they are still rather different and it is worth playing through both sides at least once.
