problems with acid blade via backstab (operative)

Hi,

I love playing my concealment operative, but in order to compete with other damage dealers in flashpoints or operations the concealment operative needs to apply acid blade reliably on the target.

Most often it is really difficult to find an area behind those gigantic (non human) bosses in every operation (for example first boss in the eternity vault) to apply acid blade via backstab. Very often I get the message that I do not stand behind the target, but I do .... at all times :)

I was thinking of a couple of options to increase the amount of applications of acid blade during combat:

1. Increase the hit-area of all bosses in flashpoints and operations in order to apply acid blade via backstab or hidden strike

2. Change the prerequisites of hidden strike in order to apply acid blade more frequently (not only every 2 minutes, if skilled in "Advanced Cloaking" and standing behind the target => same problem as with backstab)

3. Have laceration apply acid blade too

A concealment operative is a very fun class to play. I hope, that he gets some positive attention in one of the next upcoming updates. Thanks!

Cheers

Niall

I support this.

On my operative I would like option 3 best ofc, not only because of ops bosses hitbox but also because auto-turning of enemies makes it difficult to apply backstab (even when specced with Debitlitate's cooldown reduced). Maybe if the enemies auto-turn with a slight delay you could actually try sidestepping back-forth or something equally based on player skill, but yeah if not option 3 then at least option 1.

EDIT: just wanted to say, if Lacerate applies Acid Blade everytime without anything in return it would be too OP, so to compensate its gotta be either that it needs some prerequisite (like maybe TA) or its one of those "can only happen once every 20s" things.
