Petnil Posted July 9, 2012 Author Share Posted July 9, 2012 was trying to get gravity surge + ionic accelerator in the same build, but the more i look at it the worse it looks. even getting grav round in an assault spec doesn´t look that apealing. guess i´ll just do a normal 31 build. probably assault. Pretty much all the problems that gunnery has in PVP are complete non-factors in PVE, mostly the mobility issue, since it's really not hard to find somewhere to plant your feet and blast away for an extended period of time, and that means gunnery comes into it's own. Assault Specialists Commando in PvE still has you rooted in place a lot too. You're still using Full Auto, and Charged Rounds frequently to maximize your DPS. I haven't tried Assault Specialist since the talent tree changes though, so I can't speak to the quality of its damage. 60% Armor Penetration for Full Auto and HiB was too sexy to pass up. Meh, one more reason not to respec specifically for PVP and try to learn a new spec. Especially as I almost always do at least the PVE daily as well as the PVP one these days. I have better places to spend my money. Besides with sticky grenade, HiB, and Demo Round all having relatively short cooldowns it's not like I grav round much unless I have a nice clear setup on an opponent who isn't paying attention to me.
