Truami Posted July 5, 2012 Share Posted July 5, 2012 (edited) This topic has recently come to my attention, why was there no space traffic prior to Alderaan's destruction? The reason I can conclude is movie budget. On a starwars-istic approach, wouldn't someone see the space station and report the activity of the Empire? Did Palpatine setup the mission to look like a terrorist attack? How would the stormtroopers onboard respond? It just seems like an excessively vile act that would create too much mutiny to be reasonably committed.
