The Final Battle of the Second Great Galactic War

How do you think the Second Great Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and Sith Empire should end? What planet should it take place at? How epic should it be? Should it be a silent, final one-on-one battle, OR a large war battle WITH a one-on-one battle? What should take place during the battle (ie: I say the Harrower-class dreadnaughts using the Silencers)? JUST THROW IN YOUR IDEAS!!

It should take place on two different locations at the same time, the two locations being Coruscant and Dromund Kaas. It should be a large war, ships getting shot down while desperately trying to land to occupy both Kaas and Coruscant. The Republic is trying to reach the Emperor on Kaas but little do they know that he is aboard a well protected ship above Coruscant preparing to

perform a ritual that will make him immortal and all powerful.

While the Sith Empire is trying to occupy Coruscant per the Emperor's orders. I think that all Republic playable characters should be present on Coruscant and be responsible for escorting both Satele Shan and Revan to the Emperor for a final confrontation after the Jedi have figured out a way to avoid

being mind controlled by the Emperor

Those are good ideas. I have some as well:

- It should be really 2 battles. First the Sith Empire launch a massive assault on the Republic capital of Coruscant ((reminiscent to 1) The battle of Coruscant during the Great Hyperspace War and 2) The Sacking of Coruscant)). At the same time, the Sith Emperor is preparing a ritual from several Sith Space planets that will consume all life in the galaxy. The Jedi Knight has to take part with his own fleet and army to interrupt it, therefore leading to his fight with the Sith Emperor.

-The Jedi Knight should fight the Emperor again, except both are stronger. The Jedi Knight should fight the Emperor in a way that the player can defeat him solo without companions.

- Massive Republic and Sith Empire Fleets ((I'm talking thousands of fighters, less than 100 capital ships))

- Imperial Dreadnaughts should use the Silencer superlasers

- Satele has GOTTA use Battle Meditation. 1) She's the Grand Master 2) She has Bastila's blood

- Massive ground battles

- Missile launchers, rockets, storms of blaster fire, explosions on the ground, bombing runs, etc.

But here are some things based on other story elements that need to happen:

-Light Sith turning away from the Empire

-The Sith Emperor's immortality needs to be reversed

-Parts of the Sith Empire need to know the Emperor's plot, then break away ((As much as the citizens idolize the Sith Emperor, they also fear him. This along with their fear of the Emperor should all be motive to break away.))

-The Sith Emperor needs to have another body, so that way his true strength returns ((Just like Voldemort from "Harry Potter", the Sith Emperor is now weak. Because of his "death", the Empire is now vengeful and chaotic, the Republic hopeful they'll win the war. But the Emperor will more likely hide until his powers return, then when he returns, another deadly war begins.))

In my opinion, it should really be a face-off of mirror classes. Yeah, there would be some technical difficulties, but that's not our problem.

• The SI and JC are leading the ground assaults. Battle of wits and, eventually, the Force.

• Havoc Squad is tearing through Imp ranks, so the IA commands a platoon of assassins to take them down.

• The JK confronts the Emperor in his usual Jedi manner, but finds the new Wrath at the Emperor's side. Both have been expecting the JK. Epic lightsaber-play ensues.

• Meanwhile, the Smuggler is hunting the BH for a massive stack of credits (or vice versa). Both happen to be in the midst of the battle.

Sort of the fate of the galaxy right there. It would be glorious.

Better yet, like the Battle of Ilum, the classes should first PVP like mad before the story factor kicks in.

One thing is for sure: That will happen when they're closing the SWTOR server, much like how The Matrix Online ended up.

Don't expect it to come anytime soon.

1) Why would they wanna close the SWTOR servers?

2) Of course not. I'm just anticipating it all and it all has to add up with ALL Star Wars canon

Honestly, I don't think the devs would care enough to make an end event.

  • 1 year later...

First, Necro. Going to get you later, Mr. Caesar.

Second, the War is already scripted. The Empire wins the second war by surrender, but the Sith Empire immediately goes to war within itself and the Republic uses the turmoil to wipe out the entire Empire, thus leading to 3,000 of semi-regular peace and prosperity, which renders the Jedi to passive peaceful advisers until the Separatist conflicts that lead into the Clone Wars.

Honestly how many of your minds just melted by that comment....

I'm not actually sure that it DOES end. At least not until Darth Bane tricks Lord Kaan into performing the thought bomb ritual 2,600 years later, destroys the Sith of that time and creates the Rule of Two to bring about the 1,000 year decline and fall of the Republic.
