A huge one being that we've spent the last 6 months building characters and legacies, and until we can get confirmation from Bioware that moving our characters won't mean renames, resets and recreating we don't want to move. It may sound silly for some, but a lot of hard work went into building what we have and the potential of having to recreate our legacies etc. (with the risk of having to create new names), it kind of feels like we're starting again from scratch. And with that, we've spent a lot of time (& money) on nothing. Then there's the added bonus or not having to wait for respawns & resets on the server, which gives us a much smoother game play experience, and means we can get more done. I'm sure you already thought about those solutions but in case of... Solution for reason 1: log into your destination server. Create a random character and try renaming it with all your current character first names (friends + yourself). For the legacy names, you can't do that, of course. Solution for reason 2: I'll give the example of the Ilum respawns. If you're in Ilum 1 and no one wants to team for the respawns/dailies, you switch to Ilum 2. The waiting time for respawn/dailies is much shorter in Ilum 2. Anyway, if you prefer to stay on your origin server, enjoy it while it lasts.
