Supercharged Ion Cell now increases Ion Overload damage by 25%. While Ion Cell is active, High Impact Bolt triggers your Ion Cell on the target and up to 4 additional nearby targets. This damage does not affect sleeping, lifted, or incapacitated enemies. This generates a high amount of threat.

Does this mean that i cant use High Impact Bolt when I am under the shield killing add spawns during tank fight in EC? I don't want to use High Impact Bolt and end up hitting the shield generator because it's an AOE now.

Well the feature is "smart". The HiB doesn't hit targets that are under crowd control. You can try hitting the shield generator with a cryo to simulate this effect before firing off the HiB on those mobs. Let your guild know you're trying it out though, well, just in case it doesn't work.

Cryo grenade (stun) shouldn't prevent the new "smart" abilities from hitting a target. You'd need to have a Sage lift the shield generator. :/ Guess we're not going to be using HIB for clearing those adds...

Well I didn't think it would either but the tooltip did say that it won't hit lifted, sleeping or incapacitated targets. Wouldn't hitting it with a cryo be considered an incapacitate? If someone on the PTS can test this out that would be sweet. If not, will have to test it when it goes live.
