KBSIP Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) pyro PT can be fully mobile and puts up high enough numbers to be perfectly raid viable as MDPS. I recommend putting aside some stat points to pick up the 4% damage debuff to your flame burst to help out on reducing incoming damage. While we'll never beat marauder/sent for optimal MDPS composition in the current state-of-play (we simply don't bring the mass group buff in the form of speed/damage+healing boost that they can while putting up comparable numbers), we're still a very solid class, and an excellent sub if your group is hitting enrage timer while using the proper strategy. in E C I would go so far as to say AP (advanced prototype) blows pyro out of the water because of the in-combat speed boost and hydraulic overrides allowing AP to react more effectively to mechanics while maintaining good damage.
