Callahan_Ordo
I just bought Clone Wars: Season 1 and was wondering if I should watch the movie before I start the TV series?
Aitix
It's not required. Everyone already knows what happens in the movie: Anakin gets a Padawan and they have to save Jabba the Hutt's son and bring him back to Jabba.

Aitix
it's not that great either. shows good tho. There are some missteps the show makes along the way, mainly the first half of Season 3, but otherwise it's very well done.
jarjarloves
allthough the movie shows that Obi Wan is a horrible leader. The Clones have a defensive position and the Droids are marching right towards them so he tells them to charge and leave their cover to fight the droids in melee combat. Exactly why the OP should skip the movie and just watch the show. Edited May 26, 2012 by Aitix

You mean like the fact they created a major character who disappear suddenly after the event of this show and fit with nothing else in the star wars universe? Ahsoka fits in the Star Wars universe perfectly.
