Starrhawk Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 Hi everyone, My Trooper just hit level 10 and I've decided to go Vanguard AC and PVE DPS with him but I have no clue which tree to put points into. Can any of you DPS Vanguards please suggest which tree has the best damage output for PVE ? Thanks in advance for any suggestions or advice given ! ATango Posted May 25, 2012 Share Posted May 25, 2012 Tossup really, at level 10 you don't really have much. Depends on the role you want to do. AssaultSpecialist is nice as you can do decent damage while moving in to the target to Stockstrike. Tactics is more melee based. You like ranged or melee? The Assault Specialist tree focuses on ridiculous High Impact Bolts, the Tactics tree unleashes a devastating Pulse Cannon every 12s. Personally, I think the Assault Specialist tree starts being fun at much lower levels than the Tactics tree does, so I would start there, and respec later if you want.
