rvauco
I've realized I'm discovering "Codex Entries" all the time like: Codex Entry: Padawan what is it? it sounds like information and if so, where do I see it? Thank youuuu
Owsley
They give XP for various discoveries. Think of them as a bonus for exploring and an encyclopedia of all the lore in the game. The entries on your companions will give hints as to what type of gifts they like and what type of answers they prefer in conversations. You can find them on the page where your quests are located. There is a tab on the bottom of the page. One is for the codex entries. You get an XP bonus for discovering all the entries on a planet. KarterJK
It gives you lore entries, which explains things about some creatures or regions that may be helpful in defeating them BUT ... One of the most useful things I use the codex for are datacron entries.... Each planet usually has 4-5 datacrons, (if you find them) these are power cubes that will give you permanent stat boosts in strength, endurance, willpower, etc... In addition, you can find power crystals that can be turned into relics that boost stats you can find a good guide here http://www.swtor-spy.com/codex/achievement-datacrons/11/ by codex entry and here, gives screenshots and instructions how to get them http://www.swtor-spy.com/datacrons/ Each datacron has a Codex entry number, it makes it a whole lot easier to keep track of which ones I have found and not found. There are about 80 of them, so it is very hepful
