Trinkets for PvP?

Hey guys,

 

I am playing a pyro merc and life is pretty sweet. For trinkets in PvP I tended to use the Battlemaster trinket (crit+surge), and the aim matrix cube (since in my opinion, the aim and crit was more damage than the expertise). Besides that, I am biochem with power adrenal.

 

However, when I did the flashpoint Lost Islands today, I got this trinket: Plasma Injection Nanobots (http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/gear/30356/Plasma-Injection-Nanobots)

 

Which one will do more dps in PvP, the matrix cube or the Plasma Injection trinket?

matrix cube will always be adding more damage to all your abilities

 

that trinket will only proc ever so often

Yes, but the damage from the proc will be bigger than the stat boost will do on your abilities, or won't it?

Both the proc and matrix cube only add up to something significant over time... and the matrix cube simply adds more.
