evoc Posted April 24, 2012 Share Posted April 24, 2012 Hi guys, I'm a new merch came here to seek knowledge I'm leveling this toon and he is around lvl 26 at the moment as Arsenal. I'm quite enjoing the class at the moment, even in PvP (that I'm doing the most between the boring leveling.. to each its own I guess ). I love spamming missiles in the face of others but I'm feeling way too prey of melee classes (marauder mainly) who destroy me in seconds, sometimes a bit more if I have my barrier out of CD. Yesterday I got obliterated by a Mara 14 lvl under my toon, with nothing to do except trying to take space and watch my tracers get interrupted. I was wondering if pyro can hold better in such situations and if it is still viable as a leveling spec, in regards to my actual level ( still around tier 3/4 of the spec tree) not having access to the top skills of the varius trees. Where pyro falls short are drawn out boss battles in ops (which is really just end game stuff). In that situation arsenal is far superior (assuming they fix heatseekers).
