Philosomanic Posted April 23, 2012 Share Posted April 23, 2012 If you want full-out DPS, then something like 4/6/31 (Assault) or 8/31/2 (Tactics). Some people will argue the points spent on Static Field, for reasons unknown to me. Being able to debuff an Op boss for -4% damage is a really big deal, especially in endgame content. That's a nice utility boost that requires no extra effort on your part. You'll keep Static Field up easily with anything like a sane rotation. As for which is better, there's no real answer right now. We haven't done enough testing between Assault and Tactics to decide. My gut instinct is that they have the same damage potential. Assault can do better from range (75% DPS at 30m), but Tactics has better AoE. It's really best to go with the one that matches how you personally like to play. Even if Assault is slightly better overall, it would still be better to go Tactics if that's the spec that meshes with your style best. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
