Live From The Nar Shaddaa Lounge- Episode XI

March 13, 2012

  • When: 7 to 9 PM Pacific time, 10-midnight Eastern
  • Where: Split Infinity Radio (http://listen.siradio.fm)
  • Who: Jimer, SirPsyko and frequent special guests!

Welcome to The Nar Shaddaaa Lounge, your weekly live talk radio show about SW:TOR! Your hosts Jimer and SirPsyko bring you all the goodies each week!

This week on the Nar Shaddaa Lounge

We're changing our format a bit, and hope you like what you hear!

TOR Top Four

The top four stories or items on the SWTOR radar this week.

  • Patch 1.1.5a - Tiny update, not really worth discussing, but right after restart there were problems with instances being created with tiny amounts of players. When BioWare took the servers down for a restart to fix the issue, the forums erupted in rage.
  • Patch 1.2 Info Some prices for legacy items have come out: http://www.darthhater.com/articles/swtor-news/19982-guild-summit-patch-1-2-hands-on-highlights - we'll discuss some of what was revealed.
  • Free Weekend... http://www.swtor.com/news/news-article/20120313-0
  • The Combat Log debate. Some people want a comprehensive log for EVERYTHING, BioWare has said that will never happen and the out-of-game individual logs will more than suffice for what people want them for (tweaking their game rotation/spec) and prevent “elitism” from people using the logs to exclude people from groups.

Research and Development

We talk about our favorite feature ideas! What would be the coolest feature to add to the game?

  • Psyko wants a PvE “Mentor system”... high levels drop in skill to group and make lower level missions with guildies fun, not just walk-throughs.
  • Gris suggested a "Spectator Mode" for Warzones... with possible credit sinks!
  • Jimer wants a war system- guilds can declare war on each other; even same-side guilds, and be flagged for PVP against the enemy in all areas.

Drunken Vengeance

Our catch-all category of weirdness and fun, including Dood's Drink of the week and our new feature "Flog a friend!"
